Introduction
Our team works with Stack’s Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams routinely on animated videos showing off our product — new feature releases, product launches, or promotions.
For this video, we demonstrate how current AI solutions can’t know company-specific knowledge and procedures, which is why Stack Overflow’s knowledge platform provides that missing link.
Storyboarding
Typically, we begin video projects with a storyboard in Figma.
These storyboards include five sections — the Key Point, or what idea we’re expressing in each scene, the Scene, or a group of storyboard frames, the Storyboard, which shows the actual visuals planned for the video, the VO Script, and the Action, which describes what kind of movement or transition I have planned in the animation stage.
These storyboards help all stakeholders collaborate together and agree on accuracy, pacing, and alignment to our script, all before animation begins — saving everyone time.
